We were 9 people staying in 3 rooms for our business trip for a very busy conference schedule and we really appreciated that the spacious rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable, with plenty of fluffy pillows and nice blankets which gave us all great sleep. There were amenities such as microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, iron and ironing board that were very helpful. The staff was very friendly and ready to assist us with our needs. The pool area was well appointed as well as the breakfast area, with fruits and some drinks available all the time. The location is excellent, just by the highway and less than 10 minutes from Downtown. There is a gas station on the same grounds where we got late night snacks and a full service restaurant that has great food anytime of day. This made it all very easy for us to navigate the tight schedule with great success and comfort. We highly recommend this hotel.

I was in between this hotel and a B&B for the same price and now that i stayed here i keep thinking i should of gone to the B&B instead. I mean it wasnt horrible, but it wasnt very clean either. Hallways were hot all the time. The room we got had spiders and cobwebs in the terrace and the restroom. Burn marks which appeared to be cigar marks were on the bathroom tub and hot tub which according to the sign it should of been non smoking rooms. The microwave was dirty on the outside and the mini fridge smelled bad upon opening. The sofa bed was full of hairs and crumbs upon laying it out, so we decided not to even lay down on it. The water flow of the hot tub was very slow and it literaly took an hour to get the tub to fill halfways. Not to mention i hardly got any sleep because AC kept making some weird noises and kept clicking on and off every second.
There were some positive experiences though: Breakfast was amazing, loved the waffle maker and the pool was warm and attendent was nice.
Dont think i would be back but just wanted to let people know that hotel needs some improvement.
This hotel is good if you just want a quick place to rest.

Pubic hairs found in tub. Toe nail clippings on floor. Doors would not lock securely. No towels at pool, which was filty anyhow. Food at buffet served at unsafe temps. Trash overflowing. Computer inop. Stains on sheets. Urine on bathroom wall. Carpet patched with duct tape. Electric cords running under tape. the list goes on. Tried to resolve with manegr, who refused to discuss situation at all. Asked to speak to owner; was refused. I was told that the owner is aware of my concerns and didnt care. Girl at desk threatened to call police & throw me out of hotel if I didnt stop "whining". Was told by hotels OWN STAFF that they dont care, and I should have stayed somewhere else. What a disappointment this nasty hotel turned out to be. NEVER AGAIN!

We stayed here while visiting my parents and enjoyed it very much. The owner/manager was extremely helpful. The rooms were good size for the price we paid and they were clean. If you had any problem or need they would bend over backwards to take care of it. The pool water was warm, warm enough for my kids to swim for hours and the hot tub was hot but not too hot, very relaxing. The person running the hotel and his wife do almost everything, I'm sure it's because of the bad economy they just can't afford a large staff so he is the one who helps you at 2 pm then again at 2 am and he's always helping you with a smile and great attitude (same with his wife) and that counts for a lot! We will stay in this hotel again next time we visit Grand Rapids.
