We recently stayed here for a night while visiting family in GR. We thought it would be a nice break to swim and go in the whirlpool. We were wrong. Check in took forever and only one person was working in the entire hotel on a Saturday night. We went to the pool and all the lights were out making it difficult to swim for the kids. There were no towels and the hottub was cold. When I told the front desk what was going on her reply was that she was the only one working and she was too busy to come and restock towels. I had no choice but to use our room towels and try and get new ones later. Well later when we went to the front desk to get some towels for showers, she said they didn't have any clean. Really? We had only been there about an hour or two and I felt like I was having a nightmare! The next morning we went and had breakfast. The breakfast was cold and not very good. We decided to go swimming after breakfast. The pool room lights were still broken, there were still no towels and the hottub was about 60 degees and overflowing everywhere. Once again I went to the front desk and the employee did not seem to care. I told her that the water literally over the top of the whirlpool was an accident waiting to happen. We still had no towels and I had to take some from the housekeepiong cart to dry off my child who was freezing from the cold pool and hottub! The shower was full of mold and I was disgusted by this fact. This hotel used to be great years ago, but definitely has gone down the drain. I would never suggest anyone stay here.
