First impression of walking to your room is not a good one. The interior corridor looks very old and in need of restoration. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. The room was remodeled and had newer curtains and furnishings. Room is fairly large with a queen bed plus 2 lounge chairs. The room looks clean with no obvious stains or dirt.
Bathroom is large but has a creaky floor.
Walls are soundproof but noise can be heard in the hallway.
Air conditioning is quiet.
Continental breakfast is average, at best. Good family restaurant is 1 block down the road.
The Alpine Lodge of the other side of town and next to the interstate is a better accommodation but for around $20 higher in price.
