Gaylord was midway on a long road trip, so I booked a room at the Baymont since it was close to the freeway, very affordable and got above average reviews. At a 2-star price, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was smaller, but way more efficient in its layout and I prefer it to many of the badly designed larger rooms I've stayed in. The place was well maintained and clean. The breakfast was better than most 2-star hotels. A well stocked room with free internet. This was my first stay at a Baymont, and it left a good impression.

Smallest room I ever experienced at a motel. Just enough room to walk around the bed and a bathroom. Old analog TV's. Pool was only about 20 X 12 and max depth 3.5 feet. Very old decor and all furniture in the motel is past it's usable value. This should only be rated as 1.5 star. But I suppose there are worse. Pricelined for $50.00 so not too unhappy.

We had a great weekend away at the Baymont while visiting family. The Hotel was very clean and tidy and the beds comfortable. The pool was modest but warm and the meals simple. The only complaint that I have is that the walls were very thin and we had a lot of noise from our neighbors. Other than that, I cannot complain about a wonderful stay at a cheap price!

We just stayed at this Baymont this past weekend. We arrived almost at 9pm without calling to inform them about the late arrival in advance. We had a full day of activities earlier and calling them just slipped our minds. We realized when we were 5 min from arriving. Anyway, they kept our room and told us that it was wise to have booked for it since this past weekend was referred to as the last hurrah. All rooms were booked and while checking in many ppl still called to ask for vacancy. We were told that the next towns that might have some rooms left are 45min away at least! Man we were so glad we booked it then even though we just did it on the Thursday before our stay on Saturday night.

Anyway, back to the hotel. The lady at check in counter was very nice and friendly. Property was clean with working amenities. Good breakfast with waffle station, toast, biscuits and gravy. It was crowded at breakfast but we managed to get our food to eat in our room. The only negative thing wad the loud noise you can hear from your neighbors. Thankfully they all got quiet down by midnight and we had a good sleep.
