“Don't waste your time, horrible hotel for the price!”

Don't waste your time! Would never stay here again! Have used Priceline many times in the past and never ended up with a bad hotel, especially for the money. This hotel was incredibly overpriced for an old, worn out hotel that was in need of much repair and updating. Just to compare, I stayed at a beautiful Residence Inn in a nice part of St Louis a week ago and got it for $50 on Priceline. This hotel was $70 on Priceline (which I found that people walking in without a reservation were only paying $89) and wasn't worth $30. Horrible room, the only thing that kept me from leaving (other than it being late and we were all tired) was the bathroom and beds looked clean. Clean linens and tub, sink, etc. The beds were very hard and horrible to sleep on and neither my wife or I got much sleep. Ceiling and walls had areas that were peeling off and needed serious help. Did not swim in the pool, although the pool atrium area did not look too bad. Whirlpool felt lukewarm though. Did not eat the breakfast due to the condition of the room, went up to Bob Evan's instead.

Purchased thru priceline for an economy room before a golf get away in the area.......

Encountered the following problems in order with the room.
1. Stained carpets
2. Mildew stained sheets
3. Cable T.V not working
4. Internet not working
5. Ice machine broken had to get ice from front desk
6. Bath Tub missing large pieces of porclean
7. Front desk clerk did not have clean replacement sheets advised to sleep on towels over top of stained sheets
Priceline was very good to contact hotel to arrange a refund. Gaylord has outstanding hotels and restaurants in the area this just isnt one of them. Stay away and avoid the disappointment!!!!

“Still a good choice in Gaylord.”

5 sisters have been staying here almost every year since 1988. This stay was as nice as every. The hotel is aging, but it's still our choice to stay. The staff was great, and everything was attended to in a timely manner. The sauna wasn't working on Sat. morning, but a maintenance guy came in a few minutes and got it going. The continental breakfast was very basic, but there was plenty of food. Cold cereal, lots of muffins and bread to toast, juice & coffee, hard-boiled eggs, canned peaches. We love the rooms with outside doors so you can come and go easily. You can't really hear other rooms, and the hall noise was minimal. I really don't think you can beat the location. I did take my own pillow, but the bed was fine. Bathroom was clean and well-stocked.

“Not a good place to stay”

Stayed one night with my wife. The heating system stinks. The floors were cold and very hard to regulate the heat. No heat in bathroom.
Pillows and bed are terrible. We would not stay here again.
