It was awful! The smell of the hallway should have clued us in on what the room smelled like. The carpets were stained and had a horrible smell, the room was dirty, the management was rude. I should have read the reviews before booking - this place should not be allowed to be in business! Never again will I stay here or at an Americas Best Value Inn now that I see what their standard of quality is... NONE!

We're from out of country with soccer team for tournament. Unfamiliar with Gaylord. Trying to find a new hotel in Gaylord. On their website: "Gaylord's newest construction". So, it was picked. Place is smelly, old, shabby. No breakfast area. Very unappetizing set-up on a tiny counter of very limited items. Rooms shabby, bedding and towels sub-standard, pillows disgusting. Floors lifting in the bathrooms, mold growing there and in windows. No iron, no coffee-maker, no HBO. Rates higher than quoted. No 24-hour security. Pool area sub-standard, whirlpool disgusting, pool doors not secure. Have management there been to an actual hotel lately? Obviously not. No idea at all!

Read the reviews, This place is a dump. The building is in shambles, pool & hot tub stained & very much over chlorinated. Furniture worn, linines thin & worn.Continental breakfast was a mess & a joke. Relatives, children & friends of the facility lounging in the lobby, watching tv, soaking in the hot tub. One customer came in to check out. they complained about the ceiling sagging & leakings, toilet did not flush & the manager said ok, bye. No concern at all. After emailing a complaint to the corporate, they assured me the franchise owner would contact me. Well they didn't seem concern when we stayed there & didn't reply afterward. We won't be staying at this chain.

Where do I start? The room was dirty---you could see where the vacuum stopped 10 inches from the walls---the carpet was dirty (turned my wife's white socks black)---the sheets and towels were threadbare---the furniture was falling apart. There were holes in both the hallway walls and our room along with undetermined spots on the walls. Their ad said they were Gaylord's newest facility--not true. They were an old unit that had been remodeled three or four years previous. The breakfast bar was very needy--not much to eat. The desk clerk was inexperienced and really couldn't help us much. The bathroom needed a good cleaning. Security was non-existent! Back entrance by our room was left unlocked all of the time.
