I needed a place that took pets and when I called I talked to someone who assured me they did for a $10 fee. Awesome. The description on hotels.com sounded good so I booked it. Upon arrival there was no one at the desk. But one of the "tenants" and his son were nice enough to tell me he was checking in one of the U-Hauls (it's a dual business). Eventually he came in and checked me in charging me in advance for the room (odd...) The room was a king jacuzzi room and was nice enough but certainly not "newest construction". The entrance to the building was a set of wooden doors with glass in the top half that seemed like they'd been pretty well beat up. The emergency exit at the north stairwell stuck. Stairs were apparently the only way to the rooms on the second floor and the carpet was dirty and dated. A spider was hanging from the top of the doorway into the main hallway. Nice touch. There was no air conditioning in the main building just wall units for the rooms. The tub took forever to drain after taking a shower. The vinyl flooring was peeling. The alarm clock was on the desk rather than the nightstand for some odd reason. At check out, the same guy had to be awoken to check me out. Nice enough guy but clearly you can't run a hotel and a U-haul business by yourself. There was a loud party/gathering/something right outside the front door throughout the night and unfortunately under my room. I was too tired to get up and complain hoping it would go away but it went on into the wee hours of the morning.

Avoid this hotel if at all possible. The bed cover at cigarette burn holes, dated rooms, poor front desk service. Got charged twice for one night…when I tried to resolve the issue for the next 2 months, I kept getting “the manager is not here right now”… I had to fight it with my credit card company. Absolute worse customer service of any hotel that I’ve ever experienced!

came to this hotel for a weekend stay with my husband and six of our children. we had 2 rooms, and upon arrival we were told that the pool was closed for the night, then the next day it was broke and repair man was to be there to fix it..we were going to 'call of the wild' museum and out for a while, so we figured it would be fixed by the time we got back..wrong answer. The employee that we talked to was very nice and did try and get ahold of the manager..but the manager did not do anything..so for the 4 days that we were there..not once did someone even come to look at the pool. the kids were so disappointed, and I even tried contacting someone from the branch of hotels, to see if they could do something, or discount us, or refund us something for the inconvience..the whole reason we picked the hotel was an indoor pool for the kids..we told them the very first night we would go to another hotel if the pool wasn't going to be fixed..would definetely recomend NOT GOING TO THIS HOTEL.

It was awful! The smell of the hallway should have clued us in on what the room smelled like. The carpets were stained and had a horrible smell, the room was dirty, the management was rude. I should have read the reviews before booking - this place should not be allowed to be in business! Never again will I stay here or at an Americas Best Value Inn now that I see what their standard of quality is... NONE!
