The Waters Inn is a renovated "mom & pop" hotel in Waters, Michigan. The cost for a room with 2 regular beds was $71 (including tax, no wifi). It has 10 hotel rooms. Our room was done in knotty pine and had a golf theme. The room was small but very clean and charmingly decorated. The hotel welcomes dogs which is a plus to us. The only negative about our room was a mattress on one of the beds was noisy and uncomfortable. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay there. There is a bar/restaurant right across the street that serves decent food, from burgers to prime rib. Would I go back there - yes, definitely.

What a sweet motel! Very clean and charming. Wireless wasn't free, but the room was so inexpensive, it didn't matter, didn't mind paying the $4.95 a day. They might want to just build that into the cost if they find a lot of people use it, just so it seems like it's "free" like other places. On the other hand, this seems like the ideal place to just get away from it all, so maybe a lot of folks don't use the wireless at all. Really nice woman at the front desk who told us to "be sure to sit on the porch and watch no cars go by!"
