we were having our family Christmas at this Hotel and its was their Happy hour at the hotel and we were getting a little loud the front desk agent JOAN threaten that they were going to kick us out and imagine we are spending alot of money here we have 30 people with us(if you were a small hotel like this if they were smart would want to lose business from 30 ppl thats like rejecting a bus tour in an half empty hotel). so when one of our family members went to the desk to ask whats going on? Joan Said" well ma'am i came from a big family too... but my family has never acted the ways yours have..." so me and some ladies from the family came up to her and we confronted her about what she said and she denied right to that persons face.... so that really wrecked our vacation at that hotel one part of our party left coz of the incident.....i work in hotels i went to college to manage hotels i know protocol but i've never seen such disrespect from a front desk agent Joan and after all of the commotion they got our room rates wrong a reservations made 4 months ago and im very disappointed that the managers didnt even try to talk to us to apologise to any of our family....but i do remember that there was a nice lady shes the bartender that night her name's Toni and she was amazing she all helped us to calm down... but Joan because of her they lost 30 ppl checking in there next year

We stayed here December 10th, we had a king room with a balcony overlooking a canal, the bed was so comfy, the sheets smelled great, the room was just wonderful. Check in was fine, staff friendly, I like quaint hotels over the big chains Hot breakfast was included, and was very good, they serve drinks & snacks in the evering, we missed out, got back late from dinner, we would recommend this hotel, & my husband has promised to bring me back in the new year as he forgot our leftover chicken in the fridge, I know it still won't be there, but the Bavarian Inn will. Enjoy your stay!

We recently stayed at the Marv Herzog during Thanksgiving week, while visiting our veterinarian son, who is practicing in beautiful Frankenmuth. There is not one bad thing that I can say about this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern and sparkling clean. The breakfast area is great, and although the buffet menu did not change while we were there, it is more than adequate to start your day. The beds are like fluffy, comfortable clouds. The room had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. (You can also get decent coffee in the breakfast area and take it back to your room). The hotel is located right in the heart of town, so shopping and eating are quite easy. There's also very convenient underground parking. Valuewise we found it to be a little pricey, but it was a holiday week. Totally worth the money we paid. While visiting don't miss Bronners. Christmas paradise for shoppers (hell for non shopping husbands). Try Zehnders and Tiffanys for food. Skip the stores by the river (Riverplace?) Nothing but junk stores. They could have thrown all of the stores together and made one huge Spencer's gifts. (Sorry, but that's the truth). Don't miss the downstairs of Zehnders, where there is a gift store, wonderful bakery and candy shop, and place to grab a sandwich. We love Frankenmuth, and have been there in the summer and winter. Beautiful at both times of the year. The people are lovely and friendly year round. Will definitely return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marv Herzog Hotel. It was cozy, clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast and happy hour were included in the price, and we enjoyed sitting in the leather sofas reading by the fireplace. Our room opened onto a small balcony that overlooked the river. We were treated to a beautiful sunrise and the sight of ducks in the river. This is a great place to stay!
