my boyfriend and i went online in ontario to look for a nice hotel to stay in that was pet friendly with a jacuzzi in the room. we found the Americ Inn and got the phone number and called through the online phone number. the man that i spoke to on the phone had terrible english, they booked our room. we got to the hotel and the hotel attendant said that the room they had our reservations for was not available. we were both very irritated. so they put us in a different room, we went upstairs to the room and the room was filthy, not cleaned, unmade bed. i went back down to the lobby and talked to Sheri at the front desk, she was very helpful she put us in a different room. after we brought our dog up from the car and had everything in our room we went back down, we didnt want to be paying for a room that we werent staying in. we had to then called expedia because thats who they do their work with. i asked for someone that could speak english, then they called the hotel and it was all so frustrating, we didnt even want to stay anymore. in the end SHERI was very helpful, i would probably never go to this hotel again but if i ever did i would only go because of SHERI!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of the Americinn Flint. I am truly sorry that you experienced a problem with your reservation on New Year's Eve. We strive to be sure that each reservation is fulfilled and that our guests are pleased with their entire experience, however, that does not excuse the fact that you had a problem and were not able to stay in the room that you first reserved.
