Sadly I had a really bad experience at this hotel. I've stayed at Courtyards before, but this one was the worst. It's very far from the airport (a $60 cab ride) though it was near my appointment, so I decided to spend the money on the cab.
I arrived quite late in the evening because I had flight delays, and the man at the desk wasn't very helpful or friendly. He put me in a room on the first floor, and wasn't really able to answer any of the questions I had (about local transport, internet access, etc). My room was really big, and it had a jacuzzi tub, but the room was really worn and dingy looking. The furniture was dirty looking, the tub had traction stickers on the bottom, but they were peeling and moldy, and the walls had mold in the grout. The edge of the tub and the sink had burn marks from cigarettes (it's now a non-smoking room). it was kind of depressing. So, I went to bed, and was awoken very early by an engine-like sound. It went on all morning, and I later learned that the room was near the elevator and that they try not to put people there. The hotel was NOT near capacity, so I can't help but wonder why that grumpy night clerk put me there!
Anyway, breakfast was only about $10, and it was good. Eggs made to order, and standard breakfast buffet choices. One of the morning desk clerks offered to give me a ride to my meeting in the shuttle (they only go within a 5 miles radius), which was nice. When I got back from my meeting I asked the desk clerk to call me a taxi for a ride to the airport. He didn't listen. Instead, of calling a taxi, which would dispatch a car from the nearest location and charge me on a meter, he called a private car service that the hotel has a relationship with. I only found this out after waiting for 20 minutes and inquiring about the delay. The ride ended up costing me $20 more than the taxi ride from the night before (no time difference), plus I was very stressed out because the timing was TOO CLOSE because of the unecessary wait time. I almost didn't make it to check-in and through security. I was really annoyed, and on an already stressful trip, I didn't need the additional aggravation. I was clear about my flight time, and I feel that the clerk didn't act in my best interest.
so, overall, not a great experience. I would suggest trying another hotel in the area.
