“Inexpensive room but a good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days during a vacation to the western U.P. The internet rate was unbelievable at less than $40/night for a basic room that included a refrigerator and microwave. The continental breakfast included make-your-own waffles, cereal, pastries, fruit, milk, juice and coffee. The spa (hot tub) is nice and hot; we did not use the sauna but it looked nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

“Convenient Stop, Good Value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

Located off Highway 2, the Econo Lodge is conveniently located when traveling through the area. Room was clean and overall accommodations were basic. Breakfast offered was standard: cereal, toast, muffins, waffles, milk, juice and coffee. Good value at around $50 per night, 2 people. Friendly clerk. Served its purpose for a one night stay.

Our stay was comfortable and reasonably priced.
For the money it was very god.
I would rate above average for a budget hotel.

“Basic, but clean and very inexpensive”

Needed a room for one night and this place was 53.00 and the Comfort Suites was 134.00. Glad we stayed here. Our room was small, very basic and needs updating, but it had a refrigerator and microwave. No coffee maker but they have 24 hr coffee near the lobby. No pool, but there is a hot tub with a nice sitting area and a sauna! You don't see that too often. Most of all it was clean, clean, clean!!! Friendly staff also. Gold Award winner for Choice Hotels.
