This is by far, the very worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I've stayed at some pretty cheap hotels. The only reason I stayed the one night was because it was already almost 2am by the time I found the place and thought I could grit my teeth and bear it since I had an appointment at the Passport agency at 11am.
First off, very sketchy part of town. Indoor corridors don't are not a perk when they leave the windows fully open to all inclement weather (carpet was soggy from humidity and rain). The door to the room didn't shut all the way, even when "locked" so I propped a chair against it. The carpeting in the room wasn't any better - in fact I never took off my shoes the entire time unless while in bed. The comforter had holes and were outdated - I stripped it down to only the sheets to make sure there weren't any creepy-crawlies hiding and even slept on top of the sheet because even then I wasn't comfortable. And in the morning, found that there were NO TOWELS in the room besides a small face cloth (not even hand towels!). Didn't even bother calling down to the front desk about it at that point, just packed my stuff and left.
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, regardless of the close proximity to the city. AND it wasn't even that cheap! Internet rate was $79.99/night!
