Vert convenient location near the airport with shuttle service both ways. We enjoyed a large jet tub in our room. Breakfast wasnt very tasty but it was a very beautiful space.

We left our car in the valet parking (with apparent 24 hour video surveillance) for a week. When we returned all seemed well and we drove home to Canada, late at night, tired from the trip. It wasn't until we were home we realized that the DVD player and other items had been stolen from the car, as well as my cell phone from the glove box. I didn't have roaming or data on my cell plan, so I had left it there, not intending to use it all week. Well the thieves used it in Detroit all week and racked up a $2500 cell phone bill! The only way to get a police report from Romulus was to go back there in person which I was unable to do. The "manager" of the valet parking stopped taking my calls and did not answer email. I am pretty sure it was an inside job and they knew they could use it all week. DO NOT USE THIS PARKING - they are thieves!

I have stayed at this airport hotel for over twenty two years regularlyas I am a commuter, and watched managers along with other employees come and go. Although it has its good and bad points, one reason I consistenly stay there are two very helpful front desk employees, who work very hard and always try to help me as well as everyone else: Mike P. and Kristy.

I have been staying at this property now for over 3 years, usually 5 nights a month. The property is a bit dated in terms of decor, but the rooms are comfortable(some available with a huge in room hot tub) and very clean. The primary reason I stay her is that it is a great value for your money, but even more than that,it's the staff. From the front desk, to the housekeepers,to the courtesy shuttle drivers, nothing is ever a problem, and they are always willing to please you, the guest. The recently upgraded "Sunshine Breakfast" is complimentary, and very good with offerings for any type of breakfast needs. It is open from 0400-0900 daily.The hotel also has a nice small restaurant, Marco'z, with a very extensive menu, serving food between 4PM until midnight, and the bar is open until 2 AM, serving alcohol and bar food. Although I don't use it, they offer the BEST Fly Park & Lodging of any hotel in the area. The parking is valet style, and the parking facility is covered, very important for the wintery weather here in Detroit. With the economy being what it is, this Hotel is a wonderful value, and I would recommend it to anyone needing lodging close to the Detroit Metro Airport.
