Checked-in last night and everything seemed to be just fine? Returned for my second night of stay and while watching some TV while sitting on the bed, I saw a small insect crawling on the wall next to the bed. With a closer look I suspected a bed bug. Called the front desk and asked for them to come up immdiately. Five minutes later, a knock at the door and the young lady came in, took one look and said "Ooooh, yeah that's what you think it is. A bed bug. We will have the room treated tomorrow by an insect control firm." She then promptly grabbed a tissue, killed th bug, flushed it and then asked if I'd like to move to a different room? Really? How do I know that the entire hotel isn't infested and I'll be bitten and my suitcase infested overnight so I can take them home with me?
I considered going to a different hotel but how do you know that the next one doens't have the same issue? I accepted to move to a different room and was offered a free breakfast in the morning. Seriously? A $10 free breakfast? How about no? Awful. Just plain awful.
