“Not too shabby!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2011 via mobile

Again, I stayed at this hotel on business for 2 weeks. The hotel is well kept, clean, and a great value. The rooms are small, and the bed was also small and sunk in the middle. That said, the kitchen was well equipped and the maid service excellent. The front desk attendants were all very pleasant and helpful. There was a 24 hour free coffee and tea set up in the lobby which was quite nice as well as a popcorn machine and home made cookies almost everyday. There are Plenty of stores closeby but you really need a car to get around. Overall a great stay!!

“Quiet, good location for Ford museums”

We had the 2 bed suite for 3 nights. Good accommodation with fully equipped kitchen. Spotlessly clean - except for the carpet in the living room which looked as if oil had been spilled on it.
The lady on reception was very friendly.
Only negative was the breakfast - not enough places to sit, no breads. Expected cold buffet only - but the property in Lombard, where we stayed a week earlier, was much better for breakfast choice & seating.
Detroit Institute of Art was fantastic. As was Greenfield Village.

“Ok, if just to lay your head”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 July 2011

I wanted to stay a the" Henry" but I wouldn't be spending a lot of time at the property so I didn't see the point. I checked in very late to the TownPlace and all that was avail was a handicapped friendly room. I was somewhat antiquated with a 27"TV (Tube). The facilities amenities were sparse and it did have a kitchenette but it was a throwback from "Happy Days". That morning I asked to be switched to another room and I was cheerfully accommodated. The new room was on the first floor with a larger flat screen TV but the kitchenette was still a throwback (-: No worries since I never used it. Overall a decent place to lay my head and the staff were great. I noticed this property stays packed due to the lack of parking when I came in so get there early if you can. Recommended.

“It was a comfortable stay for 75 days!”

I was in Dearborn for a business trip for about 75 days. This Hotel made our stay very comfortable. The rooms were cozy and had a small kitchen, refrigerator, oven, microwave TV etc which made this long stay easy. It is walking distance from Walmart, Best Buy, Target etc which was great. It also has a barbecue facility and a Gym. The staff was courteous. Room service could have been better. And on top of that, it was 5 minutes away from my office. The snow was cleared immediately when there was a snowstorm. What more can you ask for. I will stay there again for sure!

“Pretty good value for a holiday weekend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2010

This was pretty good value for a holiday weekend. We stayed the three nights of the 4th of July weekend, when most places were expensive or booked out.

The purpose of our stay at Dearborn was to take in the Henry Ford and Greenfield Village. This worked very well as it was less than 15 minutes drive.

The room was very spacious, had everything you'd ever want including a decent kitchen and comfortable King bed. Even the room's work desk with Wi Fi was larger that most hotels.

The guys at the front desk were friendly and good fun to talk to. We had a great view of the Village's fireworks from our room each night.

We also found that there were some real good restaurants within a short drive. All recommended by Trip Advisor, of course !
