Ourselves and 2 other couples stayed the weekend. Rooms were wonderful, and warm. The house is very well maintained.
The Rooms, were very nice, and the beds were very confortable.
They have a nice Game Room.
The neighborhood is very nice and safe to walk in.
It is a short walk to the downtown area.
I'm planning to stay again, Hopefully, this spring.

The Dearborn B&B is a beautiful place in a wonderful location. We stayed 2 nights, explored the Fairlane Estate and spent a day at the Ford Museum. From our b&b, we walked or biked to restaurants and attractions. Breakfast was available on a self-serve basis in a private dining room, just opposite our bedroom. We were made to feel at home, relaxing on the front porch or upstairs balcony. The only drawback to this place is that they advertise a beautiful pool on their website, and it is not opperational this summer, due to the expense of upkeep. When I booked the room over the phone, no mention was made of this fact and I felt the omission of this was somewhat deceptive, given the heat of the season. We did express our dissapointment regarding the lack of pool, but I see it is still advertised on the website. Maybe enough folks complained and it's up and running again? Check before you book if a dip in the pool is important to you!

The bed and breakfast was very clean and provided a unique lodging experience. It was somewhat odd in that I was alone in the place for 2 nights but for a small B&B, this is probably not that unusual.

I was very disappointed with the filth that greeted us when we arrived in January 2001. I used the remaining sticky sides of my luggage tags to collect debris including nail clippings from the floor. Not a horizontal surface was clean! We would have checked-out immediately if we had not been so exhaused from our international flight. Breakfast was a joke-Kroger brand bagels served in a "help-yourself" guest mini-kitchen. There was not a soul around in the morning. We resorted to developing a "self-checking-out" procedure so that we could change to a chain hotel which we rarely find delightful. In this case, the chain hotels in the area are your better choice.
