My stay of Nov. 14 & 15, 2011 was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast that was available was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler.

While it's 13 miles off of I80 it is well worth the drive, especially if you're traveling with pets. They allow dogs, and my dog is 65 lbs.

Room
Great overall. Absolutely no complaints. Nice size, 32" flat screen tv with every cable channel you need. Small microwave and nice size refrigerator in room.

Cleanliness
Outstanding and very much appreciated, especially after a recent bad experience at the Ramada. Bathroom is super clean.

Continental Breakfast
Fruits, breads, juices and coffee were included in the $60/night king size room (November). The coffee wasn't very good but it helped me make it to the nearest Starbucks.

Will definitely stay here again when I'm traveling from DC to Chicago. Pet friendly hotels can be hard to find, especially one that's nice for the pet owners.

A few friends and I had booked this hotel through priceline, based on its great customer reviews, and I need to let everyone know how great a staff this hotel has. We had booked our stay about 5 days in advance, and while we were on our way from Chicago to Coldwater, we called up the hotel to be sure that we still had our booking. Unfortunately, priceline had never sent the confirmation to the hotel, so when we called, Dwayne/Dwight, did not have our booked room. They were infact out of the rooms that we had booked. Dwayne/Dwight was extremely helpful, even going as far as telling us a quicker route to the hotel than the one we were taking with our GPS. He ended up setting us up in a really nice room at the hotel, and had a great conversation with us. Every morning when we were leaving he would greet us from the desk and told us to have fun. When we would come back at night, he would greet us again and asked how the day went. There was another girl who would work during the daytime, and she was extremely nice as well, but I sadly forgot her name! Our rooms where very quaint, and when we left for the day on saturday, when we came back the maids had made the beds, and actually, arranged my one friends pillow and stuffed dog very nicely on the bed. I will definately be staying at this hotel again in the future. As an added plus, the Little River Railroad runs directly behind the hotel!!!

Needing a place to stay while traveling, I stopped at the Red Roof Inn at Coldwater, MI at about midnight. The desk clerk was friendly and showed me a room before I committed to staying there. Rooms were very clean, bathroom was as well. Rate was extremely inexpensive. Had been staying at the Comfort Inn in Coldwater, but will forever be a patron of the Red Roof Inn.
