If you like the smell of a dirty outhouse, this may the place for you. It's run down, it's a joke for $89.00 i'd move on. I bet this place was a really nice place in it's day, but not today.

Though the staff was very friendly, our hotel room was anything but. First, their room keys don't work very well, they really need to replace the system. The bethroom sink leaked, and the toilet didn't flush completely, there was toilet paper stuck to the ceilings where someone had gotten it wet and flung it up there. Our bed frame was broken so the head of the bed was lower than the foot, the matress smelled like pee, and the box springs were missing the top fabric so the springs were exposed. To turn on the light you had to mess with the light switch which was missing the cover.
Not only was our room a mess, but the pool was tinted green and the walls of the pool were slimy, nad the poolside floor was cracked and in desperate need of replacement. The continental breakfast was a plus, but though they had a waffle maker, they didn't have any syrup for the waffles. The hotel grounds themselves were in need of repair. Our railing outside of our room was broken, as were many of the outdoor chairs and tables.
Having a bar in the hotel was nice, we didn't have to leave if we wanted to drink, though not alot of people were there, just mainly hotel staff, which once again were very nice.
If only the owners were to take care of the grounds and keep up on this hotel, it would be a nice place, but unfortunately they haven't taken the innitiative. For only $49 dollars a night, I wasn't too suprised. It is what it is, but we will not be back.

It's clear to see that this place used to be a nice place. Solid construction, play areas, pool, bowling alley, driving range, golf course next door, restaurant, bar, etc. But now it is a destination for poker players who set up their games in the parking lot, for people hard on their luck, and it is owned by a guy that doesn't really care all that much.

I got to know the maintenance guy pretty well. My door jammed shut and when opened it was clear the door frame was broken. The air conditioner barely was attached to the wall. The showerhead was moldy. The sink backed up, belching tar from cigarettes that had been stuffed down the drain over the decades. The furniture solid, but worn. The rain gutters falling away from the building, the parking lot filled with junkers. The lattace work kicked through. Employees that are paid $50 a week and a room to live in, who climb through open windows to get into their rooms because the batteries that work the locks are dead.

The breakfast room tables were dirty, the breakfast was thin waffles, watered down juice, and coffee. When I arrived the employees were hanging up potted flowers for the weekend crowd (the flowers mostly dead). The bowling alley and bar never opened as promised.

The only place in Cadillac that seemed worse was the Super Eight next door that was vacant following a fire.

Cannot say enough terrible things about this place! Let's start with the BEDBUGS! By the morning I woke up with red bites covering my legs. Dirty. Cheap linens. SMELLY and STINKY! Couldn't even air out the room because the window FELL OUT when we tried to open it!! The walls were like paper. Beds were uncomfortable. I have never stayed in a place that was this bad. Will NEVER stay here again!!! My advise is to stay away.
