After flying all day to get to Detroit, we stayed at this nearby Hampton. It was only a 20 minute ride to the hotel. It is clean and comfortable, and what I usually expect from a Hampton. There were several nearby restaurants to choose from. There was a small fitness room, however the hotel clerk advised us that we could use the much larger and better equiped fitness room at the hotel next door, which we did. Our room had a small refrigerator and microwave, which comes in handy and the morning on-site breakfast is good and saves time when you are in a hurry to start your day.

I stayed at the Hampton for the first time when other hotels I had stayed at before were booked. The hotel room was clean, comfortable bed and quiet. It had a nice pool area and plenty of parking. The room was nice sized with a king size bed, mini fridge and microwave. It is located near the highway and has several gas stations, restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

Only draw back was that the room had serveral lamps in it but never seemed bright. So it always felt like a dungeon. Light bulb burned out on lamp nearest bed. No frills when it came to soaps and shampoo.

I stay here now and then on business. The hotel is always consistent with everything being average or maybe a bit better. The bathrooms are clean and so are the beds. The breakfast area is well kept and stocked. No real complaints. Easy to get to right off the highway.

Mediocre Hampton Inn in need of renovation and some customer service training for front desk staff. No room available at check in. Sat in lobby to wait. An hour later I asked about it and was told it had been ready for a while. She saw me sitting there waiting!?!
