The Fairfield Inn by Marriott is a slightly older and moderately priced hotel that provides free internet and breakfast. Although the price was right, the experience was lackluster. Upon entering the hotel you are immediately struck by the smell of cleaning products. Not sure if this is a great thing because it always gives me the impression that they are trying to cover up something. Nonetheless, check in was pretty straightforward.

The room itself was unremarkable. The room was clean but looked worn. In the morning, I was a bit surprised to find parts of the ceiling moving, but upon closer inspection it was orange ladybugs. These are pretty harmless, but can bite. I informed the front desk for which they apologized but didn't seem to be surprised nor concerned by the news.

There is a small pool and jacuzzi, but no exercise room. Upon further inquiry they do have a relationship with a nearby gym that you can gain access to for free but this information is not readily given up.

So my stay at the Fairfield was not the absolute worst experience, but it was not the best. It provided the basic necessities of staying overnight - a clean bed (I checked for bedbugs) and a clean bathroom.

Stayed for a week with my brother. Great customer service from everyone!!!!! We needed a refrig and they brought one in from another room. Room was clean. I read some reviews about bed bugs and didn't have a problem with that. Bed bugs are everywhere and always have been. Our room was nice, I do think that every room should have a refrigerator. Staff was always friendly. Breakfast was great and included. Coffee available 24/7. I would def recommend this hotel. We had a great time and kuddos to the staff. Obviously under good management!!!!!!

I went to stay at this hotel for a nutrition conference a few months ago. I woke up the following morning with small, raised spots on me....13 in all from head to two but mostly located in the arms and face area. I awoke the next morning to the spots tripling in size and inching like crazy. Once I got home, I went to the Urgent Care and was told I likely had a case of bed bug bites...so ichy! So I called the hotel back and the manager told me they had looked through the room and there were no signs of bed bugs. Their words against mine but I would not take the chance. Stay away or at least inspect your room prior to entering! Be warned!

Went sightseeing and needed a place to sleep, glad we chose this hotel. Staff excellant, the room was very clean, the pool and hot tub added bonus! Breakfast was very good too! So many nice pillows on the bed and clean sheets!
