If Americinn put the same amount of attention to the actual room their guests stay in as they do the lobby & pool area, it would be a great place to stay. My husband & I have never slept in a more uncomfortable bed. We woke up feeling unrested & very sore. The rest of the room was average. I noticed the photos they show are misleading re: the rooms. The beds sit very low to the ground, no flowers in a vase on the night stand & the comforters are not the same as shown in the photo...very outdated and dingy. Think twice about staying is my suggestion.

I agree with one of the other reviews on here, the lobby is very nice and fairly new. There's a nice pool area off the lobby at the front of the hotel. But the rooms are nothing special, somewhat dingy and tired looking. Bouncy beds, tired looking heater, cheap furniture. For the money I would have expected better, but I suspect the pool area (and limited alternatives in the area) has something to do with how much the rooms are.

Positives: the location is convenient right off I-75 with a lot of options for restaurants & shopping down Wilder Rd. The front office staff was very friendly.

I traveled with my son, daughter-in-law and my dog. The rooms were soundproof and CLEAN. You could not even hear water running from another room or any sounds from any rooms or hallway. The parking lot was well lit and there was grass to walk my dog in. I felt safe inside and outside at this hotel. The pool area was well maintained and it was nice to relax after traveling. The breakfast bar had more than just your average continential breakfast. The homemade waffles were ymmmy!! I would stay here again and tell others to stay here. I travel racing my dog in Flyball and will reccommend it to any pet owner as it was very pet friendly.

My Wife and I booked A Jacuzzi Suite for an Anniversary Get-A-Way night. What a disappointment !!! The first room we were given was a dump. The carpet was older than the hotel itself, the heater fan squealed like a pig and the bed was sloped at such an angle that all the blood would rush to your head in five minutes if you laid on it..................We were then moved ( at my wifes request) to the lesser of two evils.. ..............For this room, we had to run to the local Meijer to purchase some Dow bathroom cleaner and rubber gloves to clean the scum out of the jacuzzi in order to consider using it. The desk chair in the room had ripped fabric and the night stand was crumbling at its base.

The only redeeming quality of this Hotel is the enormous amount of money spent to make the lobby and breakfast area look nice.....But Don't Be Fooled by the cover of this Book, The inside is terrible, and you will walk away feeling cheated. We Did and we will never go back.
