Stayed for a week on business. The room was an average Hampton Inn room. Very clean but just your average room. What made this stay outstanding was the staff. Every single staff member went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The General Manager and Assistant General Manager both introduced themselves to us. All of the desk clerks called us by name and asked every time we passed the desk if there was anything we needed. The lady who does the breakfast could not have been friendlier and took great pride in her work. Our housekeeper was a Veteran who had encountered some difficult personal issues but was turning his life around thanks to the VA and the Staff of the Battle Creek Hampton Inn. I am very hard to impress, this is the first time I have ever written a review on tripadvisor, but I was impressed with this staff!

I loved this Hampton! The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. There was a decent selection for breakfast. There was a typed letter with my name on it welcoming me to the room. I thought that was a very nice touch. Overall I was very pleased!

My wife and I were extremely impressed with the Hotel Manager (Dana) and a gentleman who worked the front desk (Franklin). They were both very friendly, warm, and helpful. Franklin recommended restaurants, gave us directions, showed us 3 different rooms to select from and provided fantastic customer service. He would be an asset to any firm he choose to work for. Dana was very personable, friendly, helpful and made sure our stay at the Hampton Inn was memorable. She is excellent at her job!

Hat's off to both of them and the Hampton Inn for employing such excellent people!!! I will stay at the Hampton Inn again in the future. Your hotel was very clean, the breakfast was great, and most of all - Dana and Franklin were top notch!

Average comfortable motel, staff was helpful, clean and fairly quiet, more than adequate for my needs.
