Stayed Dec.23-25. I was impressed by the seemingly sincere attitude of the front desk staff and waitress: courteous, friendly, and helpful. I was pleased to receive breakfast vouchers for both mornings (without asking).
My king room was okay. No fridge or micro. Odd, considering no room service, and the restaurant is only open for breakfast. Since it was winter, I could put my jug of iced tea on the balcony. Lots of pillows, and there was a sofa (bed?).
The pool was warm and clean, but I was disappointed in the size. I choose a pool hotel to swim (even mini) laps after flying and driving. Simply too small for anything more than a splash. With so much space available, I just don't understand the logic behind a tiny pool in hotel full of guests.
Breakfast was good: buffet with eggs to order. Two chafing dishes of hot food: home fries, sausage, bacon, pancakes, scrambled eggs. Self-waffles. Melons, grapefruit, orange, and bananas. Pastries, breads for toasting. Yoghurt, etc.
Two restaurants within view of the front door: Northworks and Lucky's. Northworks has a pubby atmosphere with music. Ordinary, good fare (the place smelled fishy). Lucky's has good reviews.
The Marriott's location is near 290 access and Northern Worcester County. Easy parking around the front door.
The elevators are painted the same color as the walls, and I continually walked past them.
