“Decent hotel in convenient location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

This hotel is decent with a great location, and mostly what you'd expect from an HGI hotel. A couple of key points should be noted: although the website indicates that breakfast is "cooked your way" (in fact, this is supposed to be an HGI brand element), there is only a buffet and its not terribly impressive but is certainly adequate. Also, note that there is no ATM here, you have to go to the nearby dairy store. The restaurant, Uno's closes at 11pm but there is some late night chinese and pizza delivery available. The parking garage is across a busy street (cumbersome, especially during traffic or cold).

The fitness facility is adequate, a few treadmills and ellipticals and some weights, but its not first class. Equipment all worked. Front desk staff (esp Janet!) and general manager were very helpful and friendly.

Request an even numbered room so as not be disturbed by the noise. Rooms were very clean, and every room has a microwave and fridge. A well stocked pantry downstairs has many excellent healthy choices.

A word of warning: this hotel failed to deliver on a wake-up call. When I mentioned it to the GM, they credited one night stay, which was nice.

A good option especially for the location. They need to get the made to order breakfast back, especially since they make it a point of advertising "you can always expect: breakfast cooked to order".

Room Tip: even numbered rooms...insist on it for quiet sleep.

Dear valued guest, Thank you for submitting your review to Trip Advisor. As we have stated in many of the reviews on Trip Advisor, we need all feedback. Obviously it is painful to hear feedback when we didn't do so well, but this is how we continue to learn and grow.

Clearly parking is a challenge, we have many options for our guests to choose from, for teh winter or cold months beginning in November and ending in March, we have seasonal valet parking. We have an loading and unloading zone in the back, this is where you unload, check-in rbing your items to your room and then move your car to the garage. lastly, if your traveling light you can simply park and then come to teh hotel.

I am sorry we missed your wake up call, this is inexcusable and should never have happened.

“Great stay in downtown Worcester”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

I always stay here when I'm traveling in central Massachusetts. The location is nice since it is right off of I290. Pizzeria Uno is always a cost effective place to eat, plus you get great service when Mariah is bartending. Cigar Masters a couple blocks away is also a great place to get a cocktail and enjoy a cigar if you like to smoke. 111 Chop House is just a short taxi ride or a 10 minute walk away. What a great steakhouse in downtown Worcester!

“Clean rooms, comfy beds”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012 via mobile

Nice clean rooms. People at the front desk, night shift, were not familiar with the area. No complimentary toiletries for those forgotten were provided, which, as a frequent traveler, is a personal pet peeve.

Thank you for sharing with me your experience during your recent visit to our hotel. We certainly pride ourselves on our great housekeeping staff and front office proffessionals.

We certainly should have provided complimentary toiletries as it is a small price to pay for guest loyalty, I will ensure we do this going forward.

We value all of our guests, we want all the feedback we can get as it only strengthens the services we are able to provide.

“Great sleep, comfortable room, efficient staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

I was attending a convention and the Hilton Garden Inn was the headquarters. I arrived and found there was no reservation for me, due to an error on my part, but the front desk crew took great care of me. The room was comfortable, with free wi-fi, a large TV.

Uno's was a popular place after hours and the staff there were helpful and efficient as well. The American Restaurant(?) serves a good buffet breakfast, and I had an excellent omelet.

The Hilton brand is well served at this hotel.
