“A solid Comfort Inn near Boston at a good rate.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 September 2011

The Woburn Comfort Inn is well placed just off the 95, very convenient when travelling from Logan.
The desk staff are very good and friendly which got me off to a good start. The rooms are standard Comfort Inn with huge beds and all the facilities that we needed....microwave, fridge, great wi-fi and plenty TV channels (including BBC Prime!). Although a little dated all is fine.

The rooms are clean and the chamber maids did a nice job. The weather was 10degF above normal (81degF) and the ac worked well.

The breakfast selection is good with plenty to chose from and the breakfast lady was so helpful in ensuring that we had a good meal.

The proximity to US95 makes it breeze to travel on daily sight seeing trips without the Boston Jams, but make sure that you travel in the opposite direction to the commute when doing so.

Room Tip: We overlooked the main road but I used ear plugs so no problems, but you could ask for a room at the...

“Good deal when visiting Boston”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 August 2011

I've stayed at this hotel on most of my annual visits to Boston since 2006. It's a relatively new (looks like it was built in the last 5 or 10 years) and functional hotel.

Rooms are large, reasonably up-to-date, and functional. Beds and bathrooms are comfortable. The Internet is fast and free. Refrigerator and microwave in the room. Continental breakfast was simple but complete--cereal, breads, rolls, coffee, juice.

Location is excellent--right off of exit 36 of 1-93 North, about a 20-minute drive into Boston except in rush hour. It's an especially good deal for people who are driving to Boston. But even if you need to pay for parking in town (on my last visit, I had a meeting in the Copley area), it's a lot cheaper to stay here, even with the parking bill. For those going elsewhere in the Boston area, the hotel is just 1 exit south of I-95 (Route 128).

For the money and quality, nothing comes close to matching this hotel.

“Great stay - would come back!”

This is a really comfortable motel. Conveniently located for Boston and Logan airport (with a car), it also has several decent restaurants within easy walking distance.
The rooms were clean and quiet - we had good afternnoon naps as well as a good nights sleep!
We found the staff to be very helpful and got a recommendation for dinner at the restaurant just around the corner which was ideal for us.
The complimentary breakfast had a good selection, with plenty of options for my Dad who is gluten intolerant. I had great fun making a waffle with the waffle maker!
I would definitely stay here again on return trips and I'd like to say a big thank you to the fantastic staff!

“Great hotel, we'll go back there again”

A no-nonsense place. Clean rooms, great location (close to Boston) and a friendly staff. We wanted to stay close to Boston for day trips into Boston. Much closer and easier to get to than from the Braintree area. We were concerned because the price was half the amount of surrounding hotels, but it was ideal for our needs.

There are restaurants close by and the town of Woburn is quite nice.

Very close to the highway (and we had a room on that side) but did not hear any noise at all. Breakfast was small but sufficient.

Will stay here again on our next trip to MA.

Room Tip: ask for a room away from the highway. One side of the hotel faces the highway if this may bother yo...

“Comfortable and Convenient stay that saved us $$ vs central Boston”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2011

Finishing up a long road trip without a lot of cash to spare, we wanted to stay somewhere that would be convenient to Boston (as we were planning to spend a day or so touring around) but wouldn't deplete our already-depleted wallets. We were happy with the Comfort Inn in Woburn. Very easy to find. Convenient location near to many stores and places to eat. A short (less than 10 minutes) drive to the Anderson commuter train station where for a very inexpensive ($4.00) daily parking rate, we parked our car for the day. $19.00 return trip (family of 4) on the Lowell commuter rail line took us right into North Station in Boston which connected us up with the regular T lines. It took probably about 1.25 hours from leaving the doors of the Comfort Inn until we got to the T station. By leaving at a decent hour in the morning, we were able to get lots of touring done in Boston and get back to the Comfort Inn to sleep before heading out the next day. I did the math and for the inexpensive rate ($98.99 with CAA) at the Comfort Inn, including the parking at the train station, the train fare, and the subway fares, we still came out WAY head savings vs. staying at a downtown hotel and having the expense of a central hotel plus have to pay for parking and likely have to pay for internet (which was free at the Comfort Inn). Breakfast was also included which is always nice to fuel up for the day, although the hotel is right next door to a McDonald's if that is what you prefer.
