Subpar FI. As a business traveler I stay in hotels for 60 nights a year. Most of these nights are in Marriott properties ranging from Full Service resorts to Fairfield Inns. Woburn is a let down. The train tracks are not that bad, but still make sure to request a room away from the tracks. Parking is adequate, but pulling into the lot can be a challenge during busy times. The staff is far from warm, maybe that’s the Boston charm, maybe its just bad management. There is no fitness room in the hotel which is a problem. They offer complimentary day passes to a local gym, but that’s just not the same- plus you have to bring your own towels to the gym. The wifi is fine, the breakfast is what it is and its free so no complaints there. The rooms are fine. The “perks” that you expect are missing and that’s why I’m not coming back to this property- and why I am actually reviewing a property. Just a let down, which is the last thing a business traveler wants with their lodging.
