This location in Westport is just magical. The house is lovely, the hosts warm, engaging and charming. The garden, where I ate breakfast was beautiful, and I could've spent many more hours just watching the world go by from here.

This is not your typical cutesy B&B. Great waterfront location near a stunning beach and harbor and a few restaurants.

Definitely worth a second trip.

We have been coming down to Westport MA for years usually just doing day trips from Boston or staying over with friends. I wish I had known about this place a long time ago. I would have more friends today and better stays in Westport.
The location is the best on the East Coast. The grounds are magical. The roooms are perfectly sufficient and the breakfasts are great. The staff is friendly and most importantly they try their best to make your stay enjoyable. I definitely will be back.

I read previous posts and am confused? Were they talking about the Paquachuck Inn that my husband and I with our 9 year old son stayed at? This Inn is simply nostalgic- old timbers, beautifully decorated and true to it's grand heritage. Brenda, the owner, is a diamond in the rough! I instantly liked her! Mary is simply delightful. I ended up talking with them in the lobby (it feels more like a living room), a fire was built (it turned quite cold that evening) and we shared personal stories. My son found some oyster shells and the next morning Mary took him down to the dock to wash them. This was an experience (not just a place to lay your head). The breakfast was superb and never, during our stay did we feel rushed. We watched Mary making up the bed in one of the guest rooms the next morning and chatted. It feels like their home and they welcome any and all to share their love the Westport, their home and the surrounded beauty. GO- you won't regret it!
