“DISGUSTING...BEDBUGS...SECOND ROOM, BUGS, AND THEN THROWN OUT WITH NO REFUND.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2011

This place was worse than worse. We arrived very late on Friday 10/14/11 around 3:00 am. They send us to the room without checking in. We were up at 7:00 to see the sunrise and upon returning to the room we started seeing stuff on the bed. We would wipe off the sheets thinking the dog brought in dirt and it was dirty again. Ultimately, I pulled back the sheets and it was infected with bugs. We went to management and they sent us to another room. Cleaning women said that room was just cleaned and couldn't believe the other room was soo bad. She wouldn't go back in the room. When we said the second room had bugs they told us to check out. Booking.com is working to get our money back. But they still want to charge us for a room with bugs or is it for cancelling. I refuse to pay anything. We spent Saturday finding a new place, washing everything...including the dog, and spraying all our belongings. I found a bug imbedded in my earlop on Wednesday night. Check your body if your stayed. I was told it was a bedbug. Now I have sprayed and bombed my house.

Room Tip: Do not go here

“My dog had better accommodations than me!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

I agree with everyone who said it was a dump and that they wish they read the reviews before staying... My dog was a pet resort that was cleaner and nicer than this place. The photos do not represent the place accurately- they must have an excellent photographer! Within minutes of checking in, I noticed a penny and a razor cover on the floor of my room. The room numbers all start with "1", even on the second floor. I found this unusual? Not that this is a major issue, but the beds were made badly - dust ruffle tucked into mattress, beds not centered under headboard, and bed spreads that slide off the bed while you're sleeping. There was a sink in the corner of the room that seemed out of place. The shower was hard to operate and there was whisker-type hair stuck to shower wall in more than one place. The pool had some debris floating in it and the hot tub was not open. I debated about checking out and going to find more suitable accommodations elsewhere, but I was exhausted. To top it all off, breakfast consisted of mini muffins and cereal in a dispenser. The front desk staff seemed distracted by the TV mounted on the wall in front of them. I work at a hotel and I now understand why we have no TV at the front desk. I will never stay there again! I would have been better off tent camping than staying here - even in October.

“I should have went back to DAYS INN!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2011

Checked in here on a Friday afternoon(Stood at the counter for 10 minutes!) looking forward to spending 4 days on the Cape. The room was certainly not like the one pictured. (it was a lot smaller)
As soon as we walked in the strong odor of bleach trying to mask a sweat and musty smell hit us. The comforter for the bed had holes in it. There was no alarm clock. The carpet looked stained and dirty. The light switch on the wall shut the tv off. There was about three inches that separated the clothes rack from the desk chair. Every time you wanted to use the a.c. you had to figure a way to duck and cover through the clothes rack/closet and in between the desk chair.
The Whirlpool was out of order the whole time we were there due to a "p h problem" Did not even use the pool as it was close to 180 degrees in the pool room and to me just looked very old and unpleasant.
My first trip to the tiny bathroom involved killing a spider and a bug unknown. The shower head was a reddish brown color and there was no kind of non-slip material in the tub at all. The knobs to the sink rested right up close to the mirror and made them hard to use.
There was a hole in the wall. The bed got made but the sheets did not get changed!!! I know this because I made a pen mark on the corner and it was still there 2 days later.
The free breakfast (be that as it was) was so unappealing we went elsewhere!!! I think that about covers it. (also another spider killing)
My advice..... go elsewhere if you would like to be satisfied!
