I must explain that I took off a star because I believe that the term resort has been overused as of late and Green Harbor is very pricey without all of the amenities one would expect from a real resort, such as a concierge, spa and onsite restaurants. It is, however, part of the Red Jacket Resort, which has a very modest version of the aforementioned amenities, but still not what I think of as a real resort.
Nonetheless, it is very clean, beach front, and located on the harbor side with small waves which makes it much easier for water babies and their parents. There is also an outdoor pool, playscape, daily children's entertainment (kids club, magic show, arts & crafts) and boats available for rent.
One can rent either a cottage, townhouse, or 3 BR suite which includes a full kitchen. Again, very user friendly for those with small children who don't wish to battle the heavy traffic on Route 6.

We just returned from a 4 night stay at Green Harbor. My husband and I had a Cape Codder for 2 and it was the perfect size. Not only did we have a great water view, but we had a large deck with chairs and a picnic table to use. That really made our living space seem much larger.
Our unit was spotlessly clean and well equipped for cooking. The property does not have a restaurant on the premises, but there are many great restaurants on Highway 28 as well as a large grocery store within a 10 minute drive. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom just big enough for 2.
We went to the beach, used the beach chairs, rode bicycles, rowed a canoe and relaxed on our deck. This is a great place for relaxing and getting away from it all.
The location is pretty much right in the middle of Cape Cod, which allowed us to take the ferry to Martha's Vineyard from Woods Hole and travel all the way to Provincetown. I feel as if the central location allowed us to see all of Cape Cod very easily.

We had a two night stay at this wonderful place. It was our first visit to Cape Cod and the central location was perfect. It was just the right distance from Route 28 - far enough away to enjoy the seclusion, but close enough to get to restaurants and attractions. Our one bedroom townhome was spotlessly clean and the view from the bedroom window was breathtaking! The staff was friendly and helpful. The beach was great! There are so many different accommodations to choose from that there is surely something for everyone! We truly wish we could have stayed longer. We have already recommended it to others and will definitely stay there again during any future visits to the area!

We stayed here for 3 nights in Sept 2010. We liked it so much, we came back for a week in one of their cape codders for 4. It is so nice to find a quiet base for all the things you like to do on the Cape. We will be back, for sure.
