Our rating would have been much higher however, we had a big problem with noise. As far as the room, we stayed on the ground floor, the room was very comfortable although it needs maintenance. The kitchen cabinet doors under the sink were nearly falling off its hinges and overall, the kitchenette was in need of new cabinetry. Apparently there was a children's birthday party occurring on the second floor, the banging, jumping similar to having a gymnasium over your head. After no less than 4 calls and two in-person visits to the front desk, the party finally ended, hence the noise at approximately 11:00 PM. Our first call to the front desk resulted in the response that we must be mistaken, denial almost that any noise was taking place! Of course, the chaperones of the party above were completely inconsiderate, and informed the front desk that no such noise was occurring. The noise worsened as the children were running up & down the stairwell (across and down from our room) into the lower halls to access the indoor pool. We must assume that other ground floor rooms were complaining because my husband was forced to call the front desk three more times as it sounded as if the kids were coming through the ceiling. He was told that they would send the supervisor to the party rooms again and again and the party was supposedly ending soon. We were told after one of the calls that if the noise above did not cease the hotel would call the police, yet it continued and continued. After the last visit to the front desk we have been told that our room would be comped along with additional points applied to our rewards stay. Staff were very friendly, maybe the front desk girl was told to ignore the complaints and her hands were tied until the party ended, who knows? Very poor signage to hotel tucked back and away from Rt. 5, we drove past several times before finding the hotel. I would try the hotel again in the hopes that the second time is a charm.
