I stayed here for a business trip and overall this place was average. I encountered a few problems. First my television stopped working and was given another one. My new one did not have a remote control, so I had to get a one from the desk. However it did not work except on/of and volume. My first night I froze because my heater did not turn on. Apparently you have to set the temperature to 50 and then 70 to hear it click. After that my room heated up quickly.

The room was average compared to a Motel 6. I did have a small refrigerator and a microwave. The bathroom needed help where mole and mildew was present. The shower water valve kept moving by itself to scolding hot.

On the bright side the staff was nice and they provided an excellent breakfast buffet at no cost. The room had a network jack as if you were plugging your computer to your home router, but a new computer and printer was located at the lobby free to use for printing your airline boarding pass.

The pool is outside and not used during the winter, but they had a small work out room on the first level.

The room numbering was a bit confusing where the first floor was considered the second for one side to the hotel. So room number 325 was really on floor 2.

This low value hotel surprisingly had an upper scale restaurant on its property called the ‘Naked Fish’. This place was excellent.

The stay was fine, but there are a lot of other hotels nearby better or worse.

Bathroom was incredibly small with no fan. Beds were dipped in the middle and not comfortable. Ceiling tiles were water marked. Noise level was loud. No way to adjust room temp. Room was stifling when we arrived. We were offered a fan because the hotel is not on a dual system to heat and cool at the same time. Buffet consists of scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, fried potatoes (luke warm), hash, make your own waffle and assorted pastries, bagles. Definetly would not recommend staying here. Two other options across and down the street.

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst on business.

Large twin room with queen sized beds, TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron and large TV.

USA Today newspaper every morning, free wireless internet throughout and use of a PC with printer in lobby.

Breakfast buffet was well stocked, bacon, egg, waffles, cereal, coffee, tea, juice, pastries etc. plasma TVs in the breakfast area showing news channels.

The adjoining Naked Fish restaurant was great for a meal out, take away and provides room service. The Picadilly Bar next door to the hotel is also good for a beer and watching sports.

Did not use the pool but sat in the pool area, quite a sun trap. Fitness room is small and basic, but good there is the facility.

Friendly front desk staff, can't fault my stay would recommend this hotel to those on a budget as this hotel is about 15 miles out of downtown.

I recently went to the Boston area with my family of 5. We always need to reserve a suite to sleep 5; a regular room with 2 double beds will obviously not sleep us all. I booked a room at the Home Suites Inn, which advertised oversized rooms and a kitchenette. The room was an average-sized hotel room, and their idea of a kitchenette included a mini-fridge, a mini-microwave on top of the fridge, and a mini-coffee maker. Talk about false advertising!

The room was reasonably priced, but was not large enough for us all. By the way, they do have a few real Suites in this hotel, but none were available, so we were crammed in for the two nights we stayed there. The staff were neither friendly nor helpful, either. Actually, they could care less about my situation.

I would not recommend this hotel....

  • Liked — buffet breakfast (included)

We stayed here for three nights while dropping our daughter off at college. We found the property to be clean, comfortable, convenient with lots of thoughtful additions (free parking, free breakfast, free use of business center, free maps & info).

Staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable, and the breakfast buffet was to DIE for! While we didn't try the pool, we saw several others doing so quite happily. We encountered no security issues and felt quite safe.

Loved the big comfortable bed, all-day beverages, and fresh fruit in the lobby.

All in all, while the property was slightly dated, and bathroom amenities could have been a bit more generous, this was an excellent stay for the money and I'd highly recommend!
