we enjoyed our brief stay, the beds were very comfortable, the staff helpful, there was an indoor pool that my 12 year old had fun swimming in. Able to use a coupon from travel magazine so made it affordable (still a bit pricey but the coupon helped). Everything was clean and we enjoyed our room service meal and our stay. We were there during a heat wave and noticed the hallways were not air conditioned but the rooms were fine. The staff at the reception desk were exceptional, the nicest people I've dealt with at a hotel in years.

Attended a luncheon as a guest. Extremely impressed with the staff, the facility, the quality, and the obvious care that was taken. The Holiday Inn staff definitely made a huge effort. Everything was clean and in order and attractive. The staff was extremely kind and paid attention to every detail. When I walked into the function room, everything was arranged immaculately. The quality of the food was wonderful. The arrangement was terrific. Everything was in order and in place, and I and all the guests felt beautifully taken care of. I can't remember when I've been so impressed. This Holiday Inn was warm and comfortable and relaxing from the minute I stepped into the front door. They obviously have a gem of a staff. Very impressed.

Reading the reviews made me a little nervous especially when I was told there was construction going on, but we had a great stay. The people were very helpful and explained the problem with the previous kitchen construction. The work being done on the hotel now is a by a contractor who answers to them so there were no problems. The room was very comfortable. The rate was so reasonable that breakfas for two, a pub visit and the room cost totaled what most rooms do!

The hotel was in terrible shape. The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke and body odor. The work out room is hidden away in the basement, and it's creepy and small. Several of the machines were broken. There is renovation in progress, and they need to hurry up. Awful. Every time I had to talk to someone at the front desk there was a 15 minute wait.
