Reading the reviews on this hotel I was feeling good about my choice - however upon check in I was so disappointed that we asked for a refund and stayed elsewhere that night. The hallways smelled like a bad food court from all the different meals being cooked up, families were hanging out in the elevator landings with their children running up and down the halls, and several men were also hanging about the hallways – which made my coworker very uncomfortable about her safety. The rooms smelled smoky, even though they were labeled non-smoking. No hairdryers, shampoos, or other basic features you would expect in an all-suite hotel chain were in the rooms. We didn’t even unpack, just checked out and stayed elsewhere.

My husand and I stayed here for a week in October, 2007, and my my mother and brother recetly stayed here for the same reason-major household renovations.
This hotel is located conveniently between 2 major interstates ( route 133runs between I-93 and I-495). You have a cooktop and microwave and refridgerator in your suite ( I think there is also suites with full k itchens) The hotel is quiet, with a great front desk staff, and you cannot beat the location for dining choices in the area. The clientele are mostly business people, but it would be good for families for a few days.

I travel alot for business and this was by far one of the best places I have stayed. The staff couldn't do enough very helpful and friendly. Great location, near major highways (easy to get to), and restaurants within walking distants. The room was very clean and had plenty of room. High recommended!

The ESA Tewksbury is the best deal in town. We have stayed here many, many, many times. It is the basics in extended stay lodging with stove top, utensils, microwave, dishes and coffee maker. The coffee maker carafe ALWAYS spills and drips and you just have to be OK with that.

The bedding is basic--it helps to bring your own pillow. Heat and AC work good. TV is relatively small but again, this is a basic place. There is wireless internet for a flat $4.95 per stay.

ESA is located right next to the Longhorn restaurant which makes for some fine eating whether you are snowed in (as we were) or just too fatigued to venture anywhere else. There is also a Hess station next door which features very competitive gas prices as compared to the region.

There was one time we stayed and the room smelled like an armpit. But again, we've stayed there dozens of times and they will let you change the room if you ask.

The staff was amicable. One time (after the snowstorm which featured the Longhorn mentioned above) our cars were buried in snow and ice. The staff lent us an ergonomic shovel which saved the day.

This was our favorite place to stay in the area when factoring in our limited budgetary needs. We recommend ESA Tewksbury!
