My friend and I had traveled to a wedding in Boston and our hotel there was so awful we decided to drive out of the city for a bit and find a better hotel. We called on from on the road and the staff was very helpful. We stayed in a 2 queen bed room and the beds were wonderfully comfy, the room very clean - everything was perfect. The price was reasonable , I think it was $105 with the AAA discount, and the free breakfast was very nice. They were renovating the hotel but the construction didn't bother us at all. I saw people swimming but it looked like the pool area was being fixed up too and the water looked slightly murky. The close proximity to the Mass Pike was convenient (and we didn't hear any road noise) and the location for anyone going to Old Sturbridge Village can't be beat. I would highly recommend this hotel for the traveler who typically enjoys Hampton Inns - this one is a crown jewel in their properties.
