First of all, the hotel is ok. It's not too far from the airport, very reasonably priced (for Boston), the rooms aren't dirty and the complimentary breakfast isn't too bad. Also, the parking is free. That said, it does feel like it's in need of a major refubishing soon. Everything looks kind of worn out and the whole place smells of detergent and cleaning agents as if to hide what lies in the carpets. The staff don't really seem to care too much about you, they aren't unfriendly but I've gotten so used to super friendly hotel staff when travelling in the States that it feels weird when you meet someone who acts like they couldn't care less about you. I don't mind really, because they get the job done (the charge me the correct amount and give me a key and a room number) but it's kind of nice when someone acts (or really mean that) they're delighted to have you stay at their hotel, right?
I've stayed at maybe 6 or 7 La Quintas in the past (mostly in California) and this place isn't quite as nice as the other ones have been but don't get me wrong, it could've been much worse.
If you're tempted to book this hotel because of the price and the free waffles for breakfast, go for it. Just don't expect it to be worth more than you pay for it.
