“Top of the Line Accomadations in Seekonk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 December 2011

There motto of "Arrive a stranger, leave a friend" is right on the mark. El and Bill make your every wish their command. The place is beautiful inside and out. The rooms are spacious as well as the baths. Everything is so clean and fresh. Hidden a short distance from busy Rt. 44 is this gem of an Inn with all the trimmings. A cheese and cracker tray await you and hot and cold drinks are always available. Breakfast is a treat with a different menu every morning. Easy access to super highways to Providence, Boston and Newport. Many very good restaurants within a short distance. This place has it all!

Room Tip: Take a good look at the pictures and see which one suits your needs.

“33rd anniversary”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 December 2011

For our anniversary we had 2 objectives, stay at a very good B&B and visit the Rhode Island mansions. Jacob Hill was perfect for this. Bill and Eleonora are very hospitable, provide very clean rooms and serve great food. It was a nice drive from Newport to the peace and quietness of Jacob Hill. We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary thanks to Bill and Eleonora.

“Comfort..enjoyable scenery and down to earth hosts.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2011

My husband and I needed some downtime. This place provided exactly that and more. If you need a little bit of heaven ...right here on earth...this is the place. Peaceful sunrises, unbelievable sunsets, excellent breakfasts, clean rooms, homey atmosphere and delightful conversations can be had at this lovely old bed and breakfast. We only live 10 minutes away...never knew it was there...worth every dime. They made us feel like family. We'll be back again. Joe & Sandy Mellen, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Room Tip: If you stay in the winter..which is lovely, try to stay in the building where they serve breakfast...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights (October 25th and 26th) on our recent tour of New England. The inn is a member of the 'Select Registry' (a fantastic collection of inns across North Ameria). Staying in Room 1 - 'The Colonial Suite' our every need (including lighter breakfasts) was attended to by our gracious hosts - Bill and Eleanora. The setting is beautiful - I went for an October run before the unseasonal storm hit - the surrounding area is beautiful as is the actual inn and its grounds. This lodging is ideally situated for a visit to Newport where the mansions can be viewed - Bill gave us great tips on where to go. He also recommended great local restaurants - the local restaurant owners are clearly very fond of both he and Eleanora.

“The Definition of Hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

I stayed for 4 days while enjoying a mother daughter weekend. I am already missing this wonderful Inn and the gracious hospitality of the Innkeepers Bill and Eleonora. When you meet people who are passionate about their profession it shows. From the moment you enter the driveway Bill is there to greet you and offer assistance. I already felt at home. We decided on the Boston Suite which is in the refinished barn. Refinished is an understatement. This barn has been lovingly resorted by the Innkeepers and they offer a tour of the property upon arrival. Our room was just as the internet pictured described. No surprises here! We chose the barn because it also had a game room with a beautiful pool table and ping pong table and lots of space for enjoying your favorite TV shows on the flat screen TV. My daughter and I enjoyed the game room every evening after a great day of touring. It felt like a warm and cozy family room. Bill and Eleonora made excellent recommendations for lunch, dinner and touring. We felt pampered by the afternoon cheese tray waiting for us at the end of each day, the fresh cookies in the room and twice daily turn down service. All of this was done in a way that anticipated your needs but was never intrusive of your private space. All areas were immaculately clean. You even get to know the housekeeper Maria who has a special touch in your room that makes you feel pampered. The property is beautiful and you are within a short travel time of a variety of touring destinations. If I continue with this review it would just seems too much!! We will return. I plan on making Jacob Hill Inn an annual destination for visits with my daughter while she attends Johnson and Wales University. Thanks Bill and Eleonora for the best mother daughter weekend we could ever hope for!!

Room Tip: Boston Suite offers great suntset views and convenience to the restored barn game room and breakfast...
