“Great value, excellent location, good people...”

We were going to stay in Providence and ended up at the Knights Inn in Seekonk. We saved hundreds of dollars and enjoyed our stay. There location is great , close to Rt. 195 and near any stores you may need. The rooms are clean and the housekeepers are very helpful. I would stay here again in the future and recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Bad experience”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2010

We stayed one night at this motel. We don't expect posh accomodations for the price, but a basic, safe and clean environment. The front desk staff was not at all friendly, acted like it was a chore to check us in. There was supposed to be free breakfast in the morning, but when we went to the lobby at the posted time it was locked.

The room was okay, except for the small bugs on the bathroom floor. The carpet needs to be replaced- in some areas it crunched when you walked on it. The peach colored tile and fixtures in the bathroom didn't bother me, but the bugs and see-through towels did.

As far as safety, we didn't get much sleep because we were always looking out the window to make sure our car was still there. There were a lot of people coming and going at all hours, and although the area in general didn't seem to be questionable, some of the people hovering around the motel did.

If work has been done recently to this motel, they must be doing it one room at a time-and we didn't have one of those rooms. The front door to the lobby looked like the original, as did most of the doors and fixtures that we saw. We would definitely not stay at this motel again.

“Good price, wouldn't stay too long”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2010

My husband and I picked this place based on reviews and it was overall okay for a one night stay. The room itself was clean. The bed wasn't that comfortable...it felt like I was sleeping on plastic or rubber and kept squeaking with little movement. The inn itself looks old and the walls seem to be very thin. We got a room that was right next to the vending machine. We could actually hear the sound of people's change going into and down the machine and the arms moving to grab the selected item, and the item dropping. The free breakfast wasn't much of anything, some pastries and packets of hot cereal, with coffee to drink. If you're looking for cheap for one night then I'd stay, but if you need a place for several nights, I'd pay the extra money and go somewehere else.

“Clean Basic Accommoation”

This was a quiet town and a stop over for us between New York & Boston. Our room was large with a large bathroom. The furniture was dated but everthing worked fine .There was no wifi but there was one computer station for use in the small reception area which was fast and often free. The swimming pool was also good. Not a lot to do at night but we visited the nearby cinema and had dinner at chillis. Overall a clean and safe stay for a cheap price.

“Stayed here 2 times in 3 years. Good - low-end hotel. Great Value!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 July 2010

This is a budget hotel.
My last stay - (1) night -,was to relax and sleep. I did both.
I am male and tall but I am concerned about safety too.
I was traveling with my son and an adult male friend. I booked through Wyndham rewards web site. Minor problem. 3 rooms were booked not just one. Not a problem night mgr/co-owner assured us.
Room 117 was non-smoking with 2 beds, desk, bath, fridge, microwave, stuffed chair and nice TV with HBO. (a plus).
AC was on too high (60 brrr) but we turned the temp up. It worked fine all night.
The room was very nicely decorated and smelled fresh -- another plus.

There were minor things wrong. The mini-fridge needed defrosting so we unplugged it for the night. Job done. Door jam in bathroom needed repair. It was not a problem.

Shower was stocked with soap & shampoo. Water pressure was very good. Hot & cold water came easily.
I showered twice. As did both my room-mates. Towels were thin. But we had a beach towel.
All 3 slept great.
Free-breakfast was skimpy. We hit the road before partaking.

Met the owner when we checked out. I told him how I was pleased how he had fixed up the place in the past 3 years. I told him so. He was very nice. He said they fix up rooms when they can to keep things looking good.

We had no contact with others. No unruly guests seen. Staff at check in and check out were pleasant.
In lobby of main building are soda, snack and ice machines.

I read the negative reviews. I simply do not agree with nor did I experience any problems.
What I found was a decent motel at a great price. Good Value.
I plan to stay there again when in the area.

This is a low-end hotel. But the rate was fair. We came. we slept and we moved on.

Location is great for Providence visit. We had been in Fall River.

Another plus: Not on Rte 6. Rte 6 is the EW road with all the stores/restaurants on it. (2) chain restaurants less than 1 block from hotel. No need to drive.
