“Beautiful B&B, great location, delicious breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

This B&B is beautiful. The owners and inn keepers don't bug you, but are available if needed. The location turned out to be wonderful. Sandwich is a quiet area, and so relaxing just walking around the community.
Our room was very comfortable.

“Another Great Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 January 2012

This was our second visit to the Isaiah Jones Homestead in Sandwich Massachusetts and as equally wonderful and relaxing as the first. Donnie and Katherine maintain a high level of energy to make sure their guests have everything they need. Although not everyone staying at the Inn chose to have NY Eve dinner there, the six of us that did could not have asked for a more perfect and wonderful way to end the year. We were seated together, rather than at individual tables for two, and had a marvelous evening. It was nice to see other repeat guests and meet those there for the first time. Donnie knows just when to interject with his unique sense of humor and Katherine's cooking is beyond delicious. The service and attention to detail is outstanding and it is always enjoyable to have Donnie and Katherine sit and share in the conversation ---- thank you both for another great stay.

Room Tip: The two Carriage House suites are set apart from the main house and are more spacious. Small refrige...

“Pampered at Christmas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 December 2011

My daughter and daughter in law shared this find as a Christmas 2011 weekend experience. The hosts, Donnie and Katherine, are friendly and welcoming, the Victorian rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable, and every detail has been carefully thought out, down to the flashlight by the front door so you can see to get in when it's dark. Flashlights are on the bedside tables too, in case of a power outage. I'd never seen that before in any place I've stayed.

By far the best thing is the food! Kathryn is a superb chef and each meal was a delight from start to finish. Breakfast included some type of fresh fruit (baked pears one day, baked applies another, and grilled pineapple on the third day), fresh pastries (pumpkin muffins...mmmm), and some of the lightest blueberry pancakes I've ever had. The amount of food was just right, without leaving me feeling overly stuffed. My food allergies were explained in advance and taken into consideration.

A bonus meal was the prime rib Christmas dinner on Sunday, starting with a red pepper bisque, and ending with a choice of four desserts.

I highly recommend the Isaiah Jones Homestead for a quiet getaway where you will welcomed and pampered.

Room Tip: One room has a working fireplace, while others have "ambiance" fireplaces. One has a large...

“Wonderful birthday getaway!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2011

What a gem on the Cape this was! The innkeepers, Donnie and Katherine are not only 2 of the nicest people, but are wonderful hosts of this beautifully maintained Victorian Inn. We went with another couple and stayed in the 2 rooms in the Carriage House behind the main inn. The rooms were very comfortable and charming in decor as well. I would highly recommend staying here. It was like the 4 of us had rented a private home. They recommended an outstanding retaurant within walking distance, The Belfrey for dinner which was incredible in every way. The next morning we were treated to an exquistitely set table and a 5 star breakfast served by Donnie and made by Katherine. We will definitely be going back to this "keeper"!

Room Tip: The main inn had beautiful Victorian rooms but the carriage house was seperate and more private and...

“Like Staying with Old Friends!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2011

My wife and I recently enjoyed a one night getaway at the Isaiah Jones Homestead Bed & Breakfast. After some recent stressful times, a little change of scenery was certainly in order and we couldn't have picked a better destination! The room was wonderfully charming and rich with the kind of rustic welcome and warmth that only Cape Cod can bring. In the morning, innkeepers Donnie and Katherine welcomed us into the breath-taking dining room where we were treated to by far the most delicious, well prepared (not to mention candlelit) breakfast we had ever eaten. Donnie himself served all guests personally while Katherine worked her magic in the kitchen. As the main course was being devoured, both Donnie and Katherine joined us for conversation, laughter, and the kind of hospitality that one would only find amongst family and friends. As we said our goodbyes, it all came in to focus; Donnie and Katherine were truly and sincerely delighted that we had stayed with them. It felt like we were staying with old friends. Take my word for it, visit the Isaiah Jones Homestead Bed & Breakfast. Your old friends Donnie and Katherine saved a place for you.

Room Tip: Check out the Jarves room, simply breathtaking. The Carriage House rooms are delightfully charming.
