We recently stayed at the 18 30 Quince Tree House to celebrate my Birthday. We were the only guests that weekend to stay at the B&B so it felt like our own! Richard was a very accommodating host. His Breakfasts were outstanding and not the run of the mill breakfasts that we have had at other places. The room was beautifully appointed and extremely clean. The grounds were beautiful and it is an ideal location to explore the village of Sandwich or to you use as your home base to explore the rest of the cape. Looking forward to another visit soon. We highly recommend it!

We had the Dr. Samuel Beale room-- which was 2 rooms. Home away from home, but better! A private sitting room full of books and a cozy bedroom with a big cushy bed and fireplace- relaxing living room with port and sherry to drink and snacks to eat at any time- what more can you ask for? Centrally located in Sandwich. Perfect. Wonderful host! Great breakfast!

We just returned from our THIRD visit to the the inn and as always, left feeling very satisfied. This trip was for business and therefore we encountered some time constraints. Richard was very accommodating to our needs, waiting late for us to arrive and allowing us to have breakfast early. I can't say enough about this inn! You will not be disappointed if you choice the 1830 Quince Tree House as your home away from home as you visit beautiful and amazing Sandwich MA!

We stayed in the Voden room on the second floor for 3 nights in May 2009 and really enjoyed our stay. The room was cosy and a good size for the two of us. Also managed to take a look at the other room on the second floor, Robert Tobey room I think. That room is bigger, but I thin the Voden room is cosier and more intimate. I'm glad we chose to stay in the Voden room!
The Sandwich village is a peaceful and nice place. Especially we fancied walking to the seaside board walk. There are also a few good restaurants. We ate in one which is located in an old church! Really nice!
The owners Richard and Cecily are nice people which do their utmost to make you feel at home without being intrusive.
In short it is an excellent choice for exploring the Cape!
