We stayed for two nights, enjoyed wonderful hospitality and delicious breakfasts. The rooms were clean, well-equipped, comfortable, and charming. Ted was an excellent host who gave good recommendations and was helpful. The breakfast menu included a nice variety for everyone's tastes and the food was served and cooked to perfection. The beds were extremely comfortable and we would love to stay here again. We definitely recommend this place!

Ted was a great host, the inn was extremely clean and well-cared for. It was especially fun to stay at a place with our names in it!

We saw Ted working in his beautiful yard as we traveled down the highway, turned around and went back. The house is charming and full of history, Ted is a great host and very knowledgable about the area. He was always full of suggestions for our day in the morning and anxious to hear of our adventures at night! He is a good spokesperson for the area of Sandwich! And the food....ahhhh! Ted sets a beautiful table and the plates are heavy with gourmet delights! You will not be disappointed in you stay at this bed and breakfast!

After researching hotel and B&B options for both Sandwich, Ma and Cape Cod in general, we decided on the Windfall House and were not disappointed. The reservation process was extremely simple and our late check-in was not a problem. Upon arrival, Ted the innkeeper, left detailed recommendations for restaurants that served late. This was truly appreciated after a long day of driving. The location of the inn was perfect, nestled among the old trees, the historic homes, and near the main street of town. Breakfasts were delicious and after 3 days, became addictive. Decor was authentic, well-chosen, and inspired. Bedroom accommodations were excellent (comfortable bed, cable tv, clean linens) and the bed warmer was turned on each night before we returned from a day of sightseeing. We enjoyed ourselves so much, that we extended our stay by another night, and were sad to depart when the time came. I will definitely recommend the Windfall to my family and friends. It was an ideal vantage point from which to explore the Cape in all its splendor.
