“Quiet and Intimate”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 August 2011

One of the only B&B's to rent rooms for single nights, the Windfall House saved us last weekend by allowing us to stay over on a Saturday only (most places in the Cape need a 2 or 3 day minimum in high season). The innkeepers have a lovely property, and Caleb was wonderful upon arrival. They were incredible helpful, available if needed, but unobtrusive otherwise. There was afternoon wine for those who wished, unlimited coffee, water, or wine in the dining room, and a hearty good self-serve breakfast. The grounds of the inn have a lovely mini koi pond with a gazebo. All of it was well maintained and there is ample free parking. It was walkable to the historic downtown. We stayed in the E. Gorey room, which was named for the local Cape Cod artist, but didn't have any of the creepy (yet delightful) art represented. The sheets were sublime. We had to go back and nap after breakfast just to enjoy them again. Loved it snd recommend it unreservedly.

“Best Breakfast we have had in years.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 August 2011

This was our first trip to Cape Cod. We read the reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to go with this B&B. IT turns out to be the best experience of the whole trip. Clean spacious room,
nice staff, and best part is, the breakfast. The owner is apparently a great cook, in our opinion, this is the best breakfast we had in years. Will definately come back. Thank you for being so thoughtful.

“Lovely room; the hosts couldn't be nicer!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2011

My mom and I stayed here for one night while attending a friend's wedding in Buzzard's Bay. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The location is great--easy walking distance to Sandwich, which is a really charming New England town.
Caleb gave us lots of advice on our options for lunch and for things to see nearby. He's an excellent host: very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was delicious--a little slice of carb heaven.
The one thing to know if that the walls were a bit thin, so we could hear people in the next room when they used the bathroom, but we couldn't hear anything from their room (we stayed in the Edward Hopper Room).
I really appreciate that this B&B will make bookings for one night, which is really rare on the cape. I recommend it highly, no matter how many nights you plan to stay!

“Fantastic in every way!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2011

We just came back from an amazing weekend. I participated in the Cape Cod Getaway, a 150 mile bike ride to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. Instead of staying in the dorms or camping out in a tent I knew I needed a good nights sleep at a nearby B&B. We decided on the Windfall House and I am so happy we did. The house was immaculate. The rooms were plenty big and definitely cozy and comfy. As I was off early Sunday morning for my bike ride I did not enjoy the delicious and plentiful breakfast that was prepared but my family did and they enjoyed it thoroughly. Caleb prepared me a to go breakfast which was much appreciated. He went the extra step to make sure we were all taken care of. We will definitely be back, most likely this time next year as I just sign up for the MS Ride 2012.
