“Another great visit”

My wife and I have been going to Rockport for a long time and we have stayed at the Seafarer for the last ten years. We have stayed in a variety of rooms, all comfortable with great views. The location is great for a quiet ocean view and a cliff walk into town. The hosts are personable, very helpful and great conversationalists. All of this at reasonable prices. Hard to ask for more.

Room Tip: The Captains Quarters on the second floor. Large room with both north and east views.

Highly recommend. Innkeeper Dolores lovely lady, great breakfast overlooking ocean. Views from 3rd floor room of ocean from every window. Price was right. Room was fastidiously clean and comfortable. Location quiet and serene.

“B & B Right by the Sea”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 July 2009

We were on the last day of our tour of New England, we needed to be within an hour of Logan Airport and wanted a ground (First) Floor Room where we could bring in all our stuff to sort out our packing. Seafarer was recommended by another Innkeeper in town and was perfectly located. Outside the busy town but on the coast, plenty of residents in the area were out walking, a superb location. We were the only residents on the night we stayed and we were asked the time we would like breakfast which was great for us and quite late in the morning. The Inn was very comfortable and Delores and Stephen made us very welcome. Would stay again if in the area, however, I did notice that the property is currently on the market.

We have stayed here many times over the past ten years, The Seafarer is a real gem. The location is beautiful, on a quiet street, with wonderful views of the water. The inn itself is charming, very clean, with lovely and comfortable rooms. The innkeepers are delightful, and go out of their way to be helpful and informative. The breakfast of muffins, coffee cakes, breads, granola, yoghurt, fruit is fresh, plentiful and delicious. The area is rich in natural beauty and cultural attractions ( including an annual summer chamber music festival), as well as excellent restaurants and interesting shops. We would recommend The Seafarer most highly.i
