We loved our relaxing stay at the Old Farm Inn. Ir is quiet and peaceful and a two minute walk into the oceanfront Halibut Point State Park with dramatic views to NH and Maine. Loved wqalking to dinner at the Lobster Pool in Folly Cove and watching the sunset. Staff and chambermaids are friendly, rooms are clean, nice widescreen tv in coomon living room..caught a great baseball game. We already boooked a mid winter stay...want to try the fireplaced room.

We booked this inn based on reviews and their website. All was as represented. They have an age limit, 8 yrs or older, we squeaked it with our 8 and 10 yr olds. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and informative. Rooms were private, clean and beds were comfortable. We walked to the adjacent and very wonderful Halibut Point Park. Quarry, tidal pools and shady walk through the trees were all gorgeous and an easy stroll. Cape Ann Whale Cruise our of Gloucester (10 mins away) was recommended by inn and was great, informative and fun. Considering the rates in the area this was a good value all on counts.

The Inn is situated well - adjacent to a wonderful state park (Halibut) and just a short car ride to the center of Rockport. The grounds are lovely and there is a feeling of tranquility there. The rooms and common rooms were clean and neat. We got great value for our money.

Our family recently visited Rockport and the Old Farm Inn. Rockport is a lovely town (Make sure you stop by Top Dog for a hot dog - worth it!) by the sea. We choose the Old Farm Inn as it was close to Halibut Point State Park - which is worth seeing. Our suite was very nice and as pictured on the website. No complaints. Best part for our kids was the wiffle ball supplies outside for guests and the front lawn which served as a field.
