“Stayed one night and was absolutley fine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

Stayed here for one night when we landed at Boston and had to get a flight to san fran the next morning. it made sense as we wanted to be near the airport for the next morning.

the hotel was fairly cheap for one night, and i felt it was good value for money. quite a large room, nice bed and TV and wifi. There was also a restuarant as well down in the lobby which was good.
Rooms were clean and quiet.
best thing about this hotel is that its 5-10 min drive from Logan airport and theres a complimentary shuttle service for guests that takes you to and from Boston logan airport. Starting at 4am i believe. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be near the airport. I would also stay here again too if I was in Boston for the night before catching an earlier flight.
I am unsure how good this location would be though for people wanting to be in Boston city Centre as its probably a bit further out.

“Slightly dated but all in working order”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

The hotel is a good half an hour ride from the Boston Logan airport, so do not expect to be in your bed soon after landing. I called for the shuttle when we picked our luggage up and the van arrived, as promised, after 20 minutes. The morning pick up back to the airport was also as scheduled albeit the trip was longer (+/- 45 min.) due a rush hour.

It is a typical Four Points property, nothing fancy, slightly dated but all in working order. Internet access (WiFi) was free throughout the hotel and worked well. Breakfast was surprisingly good although the choice was somewhat limited.

The hotel is cheaper than the hotels located in the immediate airport vicinity. It is a perfect one-nighter, if you don’t mind the distance to the airport.

“Nice staff, outdated property”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

I stayed here recently for a quick overnight. I found the hotel to be a mixed bag, as follows:
Pluses - Friendly staff, free parking/internet, pretty quiet (very little noise from neighbors or hallways), relatively inexpensive. Good location if you are driving into the city or up to New Hampshire / Maine. Many nearby restaurants (though you will need a car). Free airport shuttle.

Minuses: Uncomfortable beds, what seemed like tired/worn out mattresses. Heating system in the first room I was given did not work. Televisions are significantly worse than most of us have in our own bedrooms. Parking lot is tight and poorly designed.

Final note to management: having your front desk folks ask you for your license plate, and repeatedly reminding you to remove anything of value from your car before leaving it in the lot isn't exactly a good first impression. If you have experienced a lot of break-ins, perhaps you should look at lighting and security options rather than making the guest think "uh oh" as their stay begins.

Thank you for the review and your honest appraisal.

Over all our facility provided an economical, comfortable, safe, convenient and restfull nights sleep which is what a traveler would expect. We are planning a renovation and it begins soon. We invite you back when we have updated the decor, tv's, exterior and amenities. We are clean and well maintained but require a normal updating.

We are located in a city and as such we need to be proavtive with travelers who are not from this area and may not take ordinary precautions. It is normal to ask guests to remove items from their car and GPS which are the prime reason for security issues. We have added lighting and security but this simple precaution is the most effective. We run a very high occupancy and we care about our guest experience so we take the time to inform them.

“Nice Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

There were lots of bad reviews about this hotel but I found it to be ok. The hotel was clean yes a bit dated but it was a very nice stay. The gym needs a bit of expanding and the TV definitely from the 1980's they need to get new flat screen TV's.

The service was ok, asked for a mini fridge got that and a microwave, so thanks for that. Breakfast didn't have a lot of choices but it was ok. Not close to the airport but there is a shuttle so why complain. It is close to (walking) several restaurants so you don't have to eat in the hotel.

The hotel is fine, not run down but a bit dated, clean and comfortable.

Thank you for the complimentary comments. We are clean, well maintained and we meet the needs of airport travelers and tourists. The tv's were actually purchased in 2001 and they were the standard at the time. We are renovating very soon and the hotel will get a modern look and the flat screen experience our guests require. Thank you and please visit us again.

“Cigar + Mulch = Midnight Meet and Greet With The Fire Department”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 January 2012

After a long drive from downeast Maine we arrived at the hotel. Check-in was exceptionally slow and asked for the license plate number of the car but didnt explain why. The parking lot had adequate space but was narrow and difficult to navigate. The room was clean but in desperate need of a remodel. 1980s furniture hung askew. In the middle of the night, we are greeted by the fire alarm. As the hotel descends downstairs, the smell of smoke becomes noticable. During this time the front desk staff does not communicate what is going on to the guests milling in the lobby. After a few inappropriate comments likening the situation to the titanic from some of the guests, I walk up to the front desk attendant ignoring the milling guests to find out what is going on. I found out that the cause of smoke was from a cigar in the mulch. Not a big deal but it would have been better if the staff more effectively communicated that this was not a true fire since I am not a fan of lobby pajama parties with all the hotel guests.

Thank you for staying with us. I hope you were able to sucessfully accomplish what you set out to do by staying with us in Revere. I'm not sure what askew means but our rooms are in excellent physical shape, clean and serviced. We plan a remodeling very soon and it will look updated and modern. Our beds are very comfortable and everything in the room works very well allowing a comfortable stay. Locally we have many restaurants and a mall.

Fire alarms inconvenience guests sometimes but are there to protect them and in this case should it have gotten out of hand many people would have been well informed and alerted to the situation and safe. The fire system is the most updated and modern avaialble and we are happy to have it.

The fire alarm occured at 9:15pm and not in the middle of the night. The fire department responsed and came to the hotel quickly. Our front desk staff acts as command and control and answers all phone calls and inquiries which we accomplished. The fire department arrived and shut the system down and reset the detectors. We put a note under every guest door explaining what had happened since its very hard to do so in the middle of the event. The event was over by 9:45pm. As GM i was called immediately and kept informed on the situation.

Some experiences have more than requested but im sure our guests are happy they have such precautions.
