I've never been to Boston before and was debating paying extra to stay downtown or to stay out-of-town and cab/train in downtown. Well I made the right choice by staying at the Comfort Inn. The shuttle is on time every half hour and the train is only $2 into the city and only takes about 7 minutes. Public transportation in Boston is great and inexpensive. The hotel itself has the initial feel of a brand new, posh botique spot on the outside and in the lobby, then you get to the room and realize its just a renovated much older hotel. The bathrooms are newly renovated (with low quality and old shower heads to my surprise) and the beds are extra comfortable. All-in-all this location is a good value spot for Boston trips, but don't expect an ultra upscale experience like their facade implies.

This hotel is a gem amongst Choice Hotels.....the minute you walk into the lobby you get the feeling of a boutique hotel in a large city, not an airport hotel in an industrial area. Don't think of this hotel as only for airport use, it's great for girls weekends, visiting Boston with the kids, Boston sporting events etc. I stayed here in early Feb. for a girls weekend and it was very convenient to the T into Boston or to get on Rt. 1 and explore different malls. Yes, it's in a not-very-attractive area and on a busy road, but that's why it's hundreds of dollars less than a comparable hotel in the heart of Boston. Free parking and a great complimentary breakfast is served that includes the beverages, breads, yogurt, scrambled eggs and sausages. I frequent Choice hotels and this is one of the best laid breakfast areas and doesn't get congested like so many can during the busy times.
The comp shuttle leaves every half hour and you can ask to stop at the airport T station and it's a few stops to the Fanueil Hall/Aquarium waterfront stations - very easy. The rooms are beautiful, large and extremely eco-friendly, as is the entire hotel. The only probelm we encountered was the room did not supply a menu to Magarita's restaruant, which is in the hotel and delivers room service. The only menu is for lunch but the hotel is not even open for lunch.
Close your eyes and pretend you are in a different location and this hotel is sure to please!

Great place, clean, eco friendly, professional staff, reasonable price and very comfortable. Shuttle to airport fine, getting back(10 minute ride) meant a 55 minute wait, and frustration.

We have discovered that if we are flying out of Boston in January, it will almost invariably snow - often heavily - the night before or the day of our flight. Our solution, since we live 3 hours away from the airport, is to stay in the Boston/Logan area the night before, sleep late, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and then face the day refreshed. We have tried several hotels in varying price ranges and distances from the airport, and have finally decided (for two years now) that this Comfort Inn offers everything we want at a reasonably price. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, the staff is cheerful and helpful, the breakfast satisfies both of us (not always the case elsewhere, where "breakfast" means baked goods, juice and coffee) and there is free Wi-Fi, so I can continue the tasks I would have been doing had we spent our final night at home. They have a swimming pool, which we have not yet used, but probably will next time, and there is a Margarita's restaurant in the same building (again, we haven't eaten there yet, but plan to next time). Also they run a shuttle to the airport 24 hours a day, a feature that would be ideal for others, I'm sure, although we haven't had need of it so far. Our search for a pre-trip hotel (and perhaps even post-trip) is over - this is the place!
