A true gem in every sense of the word. If you're looking to be treated like a king or queen, this is the place for you. Beautiful gardens, incredible service and a relaxing, yet invigorating spa. We've stayed at :so-called" 5 star resorts. This place truly is one yet with a b&b experience.

This was our first trip to P-Town in ten years and our first time at Carpe Diem. We loved everything about it. Rainer, Jurgen and Hans were great hosts. The staff made us feel at home. (We loved Jason's quick wit and true professionalism.) Tish greeted us every morning with a smile and made great breakfasts. The communal breakfast table made it easy for us to meet other guests. The spa did not disappoint. We treated ourselves to incredible massages by Dana. The location was ideal. It was an easy walk to the galleries (east end), to restaurants, bars and theaters in the west end. Our room (Raj Rao) was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the gas fireplace and the wonderful king-sized bed. P-town in the winter was a warm and welcoming experience thanks to the folks at the Carpe Diem. We highly recommend it and we look forward to making many return visits.

My husband and I went to Provincetown for the sole purpose of experiencing Carpe Diem and it did not disappoint.
We loved everything about it. The proprietors, the location, the decor, the other guests and the overall atmosphere. It was truly wonderful.
The first thing that I really appreciated is that while booking on their website, they give you a full description of the room including images, room layout and it's location in the inn! You know exactly what you are getting upon arrival.
I cant say enough about the attention to detail. Every room is tastefully styled after famous writers, painters and philosophers (we stayed in the Ruan Ji room). And the beds are AMAZING. The best sleep we had in a very long time.
Breakfast was fantastic and being able to chat with other guests at the communal table (they have private tables as well) was a wonderful way to socialize with travelers from all over the world. Oh, AND they host a wine hour!
I can't recommend Carpe Diem enough and I look forward to many returns.
