We stayed one Saturday night at the end of September.Provincetown was fairly quiet, but an interesting place. Our room was on the top floor,it was large and clean, with two beds, although not very modern, it had everything we needed and great views. Also it was a peaceful area with no other properties too close. There was an interesting shower screen which made it difficult to reach to get the plug into the bath, however this is not the first time New England plumbing has baffled me.We liked Chateau provincetown, it seems to fit into the quirky old fahioned style of Cape Cod.Their prices were reasonable compared to some other places .There is a bit of a walk down to the main street, but the roads aren't too steep,It was so quiet we could have driven down closer to the town centre in the evening, possibly not in the summer. The staff are friendly ,and breakfast was muffins, pastries ,fruit, juices and hot drinks, which you can take to your room.It was served in the reception seating area when we went, but I think it was because the hotel was fairly quiet and was served in another area,in the busy season. The pool area looked pleasant, and beaches were a few minutes drive away.We enjoyed our brief stay, but would one day like to return for a longer stay.
