I was looking for a cozy P-town inn in the off season and could not have made a better choice than the White Porch Inn. The beautiful Victorian has been recently renovated. The gas fireplace made for a romantic character of our large and comfortable room.
We visited in the off-off season, but there was nothing off season about Matt's hospitality. He was warm and welcoming, making recommendations and reservations to insure that our visit was lovely and memorable. He embraced my food allergies as a challenge and created a delicious breakfast each morning, and surprised us with a gluten-free, delicious flour-less chocolate cake to celebrate my birthday - an above and beyond touch to his gracious hospitality.
Considering the comfort of the room, delicious breakfasts, lovely evening wine and cheese plates, and amazing hospitality, the Inn was a tremendous value. It had been years since I'd visited P-town, and if the rest of the community is as charming as this inn and innkeeper, we'll definitely be back.
