My husband, adult daughter, a dog, and I have just spent a week in P-town at Gabriel's. We are frequent travelers to the Cape, especially to Provincetown, but it was our first time in this hotel. Since our arrival we were delighted by the setting, the entrance through a lovely garden to our rooms (Michael Patrick) and the magnificent location. The people at reception and especially in the breakfast room are so cordial and friendly and helpful that we immediately decided we have to go back soon for a longer stay. Unbelievably, we didn't realize there was a 'real' breakfast offered every morning and we casually showed up the last day to have a coffee. With great chagrin, we discovered that the breakfast we have missed was amazing, varied and home-made. Besides, the atmosphere was warm and cheerful and every person of the staff tried to make us feel comfortable. Our room (or rooms) consisted of a comfortable queen bed and bathroom and a kitchenette and seating space, plus a separate bedroom and bathroom, with an independent door. There were 3 TV sets! and very good Internet connection. Since the kitchenette is part of the main room, people in the second room will have to wait in the morning until the occupants of that room are up if they want to make a coffee. Through a gate we were connected to a green space, that simplified enormously the dog walks. And waking up every day in the center of P-Town, being able to walk to the East or the West Ends, and with so many attractions at hand was a joy.
